Music
Upload your music to your account on the website www.GottaMoveComeptitions.com by 5 days prior to the competition.  If you forget to upload your music, you will not have music.  It is always wise to have your music on your phone or other electronic device for you own music assurance.  To upload, login to your account and click on the blue "Upload Music" button.  You will then be only 2 clicks away from successfully attaching your dancer's music.  Once uploaded, please listen to your music to double check that it is correct by clicking on the title.  

Covid Protocol
This year there is no entrance fee charged at the door for spectators.  There is no restriction on the number of spectators.  However, we recommend anyone who is nervous at all about being in public, to tune into our live streaming channel link to watch the weekend of competition broadcast remotely.  To access, click on the link at the top of this page.  Be sure to unmute to receive sound.

All Dancers (Friday and Saturday) are asked to arrive in full costume, make-up and hair for their first routine, to minimize crowding in the dressing areas.  Your coach is at liberty to recommend her preferred time for your arrival.  Doors open to the public 1 hour prior to the start of the competition.

We are obliged to require masking in all areas of the theater, including while waiting backstage.  However, Dancers may be maskless when they are performing on stage.  Please provide your own baggie (or equivalent) labeled with your name, to store your mask backstage while you are performing.

The theater may ask us to scan temperatures of all upon arrival.

To allow dancer families to support and enjoy their dancers, we are asking that performers and their spectators vacate the theater as soon as possible after their dancer's final performance of the day.  This will allow us to keep our audience numbers consistent with available seating.  

Awards Ceremonies
On Friday, every 30 minutes, while the Solo Duo Trio competition continues without interruption, participants, at the conclusion of each routine, will gather with their guardians in the roomy South Hall to be honored and receive their  awards.  These "Instant Awards Ceremonies" will not be livestreamed, so personal video and photos are encouraged.  A Gotta Move! Photo screen will be available for memorable picture taking.  Dancers who are finished performing for the day, along with their spectators can exit the theater directly from this awards area.  
Overall SDT awards will be livestreamed at the conclusion of the Friday competition on the same livestream link.  We invite all top 5 overall winners from each skill level (Beg, Low Int, High Int, Advanced) to return to the theater and be present at the ceremony to be celebrated and receive your award.  Keep watching the "Leader-Board" on the website for the hourly update of the top five overall high point dancers to know if you are in the running!!  Any unclaimed awards can be picked up the next day at the Gotta Move merchandise table during the team competition hours.  

Saturday Team Awards will wait until the conclusion of the competition day.  The Awards ceremony will be live streamed via the link at the top of this page.  Please plan for a small group of dancers present (5-15) to represent your studio at the ceremony to accept your awards.  

We are so thrilled to be able to offer our wonderful studios a true team competition.  We appreciate the theater staff who will be constantly sanitizing throughout the day, and we appreciate everyone's good humor and friendly  sportsmanship as we do our best to provide a competition as close to normal as possible.  Our children have missed out on too much already.  Let's help them celebrate with dance!

Other Business

• Printed programs will be available for $2, (or you can download the most current updated version for free from the Gotta Move! DCG app or from our www.GottaMoveCompetitions.com website)​
• The theater will not be providing concessions this year
• Paid Parking is available in the parking garage behind the theater, or free parking near/around the theater
• You will receive directions to your assigned dressing area when you check in at the front table.  Be sure to clean-up your dressing area before you leave.  Gotta Move is not responsible for lost or forgotten items
• You will receive 3 audio/video critiques per routine.  These critiques will be accessible on your account profile at www.GottaMoveCompetitions.com within a couple of days following the competition.
• Photography is allowed - no flash please!
• Video: Please be respectful of choreographers work by ONLY videoing the routines your dancer is in.  Also, please be courteous to those around you who may be recording their dancer.
• New this year!  Saturday Team dancers will have their choice of participation award.  Anytime during the saturday competition, individual dancers are invited to pick up their preferred Gotta Move award from the selection at the merchandise table in the lobby.  Please do not forget.  These awards will be available on the day of competition only.
• Individual Dancers are welcome to purchase an additional $10 participation trophy from the merchandise table as supply lasts.
